The Byre is a large, comfortable and spacious self catering cottage, with three en-suite double bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large living room with exposed stonework, scissor beams, and an oak dining table with chairs at one end.

Up until the 1980's cows were milked here and the upper area was used to store their hay and straw. The names of the cows (Curly I and II, Rosina, Kathy, Bridget etc) were above each manger, and their original plaques now have pride of place on the living room wall.

Like the Stables and Old Granary, this is an 'upside down' house with the living area on the first floor to take advantage of the beautiful south facing Devon views. Outside is a patio with table and chairs, BBQ equipment, a small grassed lawn and parking for two cars.

Ground floor: Hall; W.C. + basin; Main Bedroom (double bed, W.C., basin, bidet, bath with shower over, picture windows onto patio); Second Bedroom (twin beds, w.c., basin, shower, door onto patio).

First Floor: Kitchen (large fridge/freezer, hob, dishwasher, eye level grill/oven,combi washer/drier and all the usual equipment); Dining area with seating for six, Living area with TV, DVD, sofas & chairs; Third Bedroom (twin zip & link beds (can be made into a double), w.c., bidet, basin, bath. This bedroom has a velux window.
